1 x Grouse
Butter or margarine
Instructions:
Instructions: Be sure to pluck grouse, Do Not Skin !!!!

Coat inside and outside of bird with butter or margarine. Place bird breast up in roasting pan, sprinkle with sweet basil. Add 2 cups of water, do not cover bird with water. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes basting often. When legs are loose, grouse is done.

This recipe yields 2 servings.

Comments: Some people call Grouse "Partridge."
