Take an assortment of nuts like pecans brazils walnuts cashews whole almonds and some sea salt.
lay the nuts on a baking tray.
Place on the ovenshelf about midway in the roasting oven.
Roast until slightly browning.
Instructions:
Instructions: Remove from the ovenand immediately toss in some sea salt.

The nuts should be slightly oily so that the salt will stick.

If they seem dry toss in 1 tsp of olive oil with the salt.

Serve warm or cold.

If putting to a jar allow the nuts to cool completely before putting the lid on.

I find assorted nuts done this way are really moreish with drinks. If you like spicy nuts stir in 1 tsp of garam masala with the salt. A jar of these makes an attractive present. It is also a good way to use up bits of left over nuts especially after christmas.
