Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rub any loose skin from garlic heads, but leave whole. Place garlic in small earthenware baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes, until soft when pierced with tip of sharp knife.
Halve heads, cutting them crosswise with a serrated knife. Serve by buttering slices of bread, then squeezing out warm or room temperature garlic on top. Email this Recipe:
