1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
1/4 cup brown sugar - (firmly packed)
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
4 med parsnips peeled, and
cut into 1" cubes
4 med carrots peeled, and
cut into 1" cubes
2 med sweet potatoes peeled, and
cut into 1" cubes
1/2 med rutabaga peeled, and
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat a roasting pan in a 325 degrees oven for 10 minutes.

Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; add vegetables, tossing to coat. Arrange vegetables in a single layer in hot roasting pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until tender.

This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
