1 x baguette, sliced diagonally
1 x " thick
5 x eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1 cup milk
3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tbl pure vanilla extract
----------------- TOPPING ----------------
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 tbl light corn syrup
Instructions:
Instructions: Butter an 8-inch square baking pan and layer the bread in two layers. In a blender or food processor, mix together the remaining ingredients and slowly pour the mixture over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 F. To make the topping: In a medium-sized bowl, mix together; in order, all of the ingredients. Spread the topping over the chilled bread slices and bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.

YIELD: 6 SERVINGS
