Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 x Green onions, thinly slices
1 x Clove garlic, minced
1 tbl Oil
2 tbl Tomato paste
1 cup Tomato juice
1 cup Meat or vegetable stock
1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tbl Cornstarch
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute green onions and garlic in oil for a minute or two. Add tomato paste and blend in. Stir in tomato juice and stock. Season with herbs and salt.

Dissolve cornstarch in cold water and stir into boiling liquid, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened.

Yield: approximately 2-1/2 cups.
