12 x Baby artichokes
1 x Lemon
2 med Onion, coarsely chopped
1 x Clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp Dried basil
1/2 tsp Dried marjoram
1/4 cup Olive oil
Instructions:
Instructions: Trim articholes. Halve & let stand in cold water with the juice of the lemon for 10 minutes. Drain well. Saute the artichokes & onion gently with oil until golden. Add the garlic, herbs & broth. Cover & bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low & simmer gently, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender. Salt & pepper to taste
