4 x og butter
25 gm flour
400 ml stock
1 tbl sugar
3 tbl wine vinegar
3 tbl sultanas or
raisins chopped
3 tbl pine nuts chopped
1 tbl chopped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt the butter in a pan.

Add the flour and cook for 3 minutes stirring until you have a lightly browned roux.

Pour in the stock gradually stirring.

Simmer over a gentle heat for 10 minutes stirring from time to time.

Melt the sugar in a thick pan and allow to brown.

Pour in the vinegar.

Add the brown sauce the sultanas or raisins the pine nuts and parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve with roast meat.
