1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 x egg
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1 tsp root beer extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
----------------- GLAZE ----------------
2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp root beer extract
1/3 cup butter or margarine
Instructions:
Instructions: COOKIE DIRECTIONS: Mix brown sugar, butter, egg, buttermilk and root beer extract to a smooth batter. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough by teaspoons 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 6-8 minutes.

GLAZE DIRECTIONS: Combine ingredients, stir well and spread on cookies.
