Instructions: Speed, beat the egg whites, 2 teaspoons water and powdered sugar about 10 minutes. If icing is too thick, add 1 teaspoon water; if icing is too thin, beat 2 to 3 minutes longer until it thickens.
Note: Raw eggs should not be used in food that is prepared for pregnant women, young children or anyone whose health is compromised. Five tablespoons meringue powder with a scant 1/2 cup water may be substituted for the egg whites and 2 teaspoons of water. Yield: 15 to 25 cookies. By Email this Recipe:
