Instructions: Oil 8x11-inch pan. Lay chicken in pan and season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread sauerkraut over chicken. Lay slice of Swiss cheese over each piece of chicken breast. Pour Thousand Island dressing over this. Cover with foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
Betty Says: I serve this with buttered, toasted (or grilled) rye bread, rice and a green salad. It is truly yummy!
