1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup glace cherries, red
1/4 cup rum
1/4 cup marsala
300 ml cream
1/2 cup macaroons
Instructions:
Instructions: Chop raisins and cherries roughly, soak for 1 hour or more in combined rum and Marsala, stirring occasionally. Fold in the crushed macaroons and whipped cream and gently fold in the slightly softened ice-cream.

Freeze.

This dessert looks quite nice if frozen in a decoracive mould or ring tin and then turned out and decorated with rosettes of whipped cream.
