3 lb beef short ribs, cut in serving pcs.
2 tbl shortening
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3 tbl Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp prepared mustard
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp thyme
Instructions:
Instructions: Brown meat in shortening in skillet; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Cover; simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until tender (or you can cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours).
