Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
3 x (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
1 x (14 1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 lrg onion (chopped)
3 x -5 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped (use less if you prefer milder salsa)
1/2 cup lemon juice
5 x clove garlic, minced
salt to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Place two cans of diced tomatoes in blender and process just a few seconds. In medium-size saucepan, add partially blended tomatoes and the third can of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, jalapeno peppers, lemon juice,garlic and salt. Cook 10-20 minutes, or until salsa comes to a boil. Let cool. Add fresh cilantro. Place in sealed container and refrigerate until serving time.
