4 lb Chuck roast
2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 tbl Flour
3/4 tsp Crumbled marjoram leaves
1/4 cup Freeze dried shallots
Instructions:
Instructions: Sprinkle both sides of meat with salt, pepper & marjoram. Place in roasting pan in 500 oven; brown on both sides, turing once, 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle shallots over top of meat: cover, reduce heat to 350. Cook 1 hour or until tender. Measure pan drippings for gravy; add enough water to measure 2 cups. Blend in flour; cook & stir until thickened.
