Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine margarine or butter, water and chocolate in saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in combined flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add eggs and sour cream; mix well. Pour into greased and floured 15x10x1 jelly roll pan.

Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing until blended. Blend in egg. Spoon over chocolate batter. Cut through batter several times for marble effect. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Bake at 375 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 16 squares.

Shellie Says: I found this recipe in 1986 right before our oldest daughters first Christmas. Long after "Santa" didnt need treats at our house anymore, I still have to make them! They are also the first thing that people ask me to bring to any gathering or potluck.
