Instructions: Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Mix crumbled bacon, cheese and onions. Add enough mayonnaise to make spreading consistency. Slice French bread lengthwise (or cut rolls in half); spread mixture on bread. Place under broiler until cheese bubbles. Watch carefully! Serve warm. This make quite a bit. Great for after evening church, or serve at Christmas Eve with soup.
