1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
3 tbl Honey
1/2 lb Lean ground beef or turkey
3/4 cup Kretchsmer Original Wheat Germ
1/2 cup Chopped green onion
1/3 cup Water
1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
1/4 tsp Freshly-ground black pepper
1 x Egg white lightly beaten
1 tbl Chopped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: For sauce combine mustard and honey; mix well. (For added convenience, substitute ready-prepared honey-mustard sauce, barbecue sauce, or salsa.) Heat oven to 350 degrees.

For meat loaves, combine remaining ingredients except parsley and rice. Mix lightly, but thoroughly. Shape meat mixture into eight 3- by 2-inch loaves; place in 11- by 7-inch baking dish. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear; drain.

To serve, spoon sauce over meat loaves; stir parsley into rice.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
