Amount Ingredient
1/2 lb beef roast - (to 4 1/2 lbs)
(rump, top round, lean chuck, etc.)
3 cup water
1 cup cider vinegar
4 tsp brown sugar
1 bot ketchup - (14 oz)
2 lrg onions leave whole
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
3 whl cloves
4 x bay leaves
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all ingredients except meat in crockpot. Stir well. Submerge meat in mixture. Cook on LOW heat for 10 to 12 hours.
