4 tbl margarine
1 lrg onion, chopped
1/2 cup sausage
2 x cloves garlic, crushed (2 to 4)
3 cup sauerkraut, chopped & drained
1 tbl parsley
4 tbl flour
1/2 cup sauerkraut juice
1 x egg
1 cup milk
cracker crumbs
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt margarine in frying pan and brown onion. Add sausage and brown.

Drain, then add garlic. Stir in flour and cook thoroughly. Add 1/2 cup juice, kraut and parsley. This forms a thick paste. After it has cooled, form into balls. Beat one egg and one cup milk. Dip and roll in cracker crumbs. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. These may be frozen, then reheated in oven at 325 to 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
