Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1/2 cup red wine
2 lb hamburger meat
1 med onion
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 x eggs
salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix all ingredients except sauerkraut. Make meatballs and chill for 30 minutes. Layer sauerkraut in the bottom of a 9 x 12 pan. Place the meatballs on top of the sauerkraut, then finish with sauerkraut on top of meatballs. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours. Cooks very slowly.
