Instructions: Note 1: Original recipe used 1/2 lb regular bacon
Cook beans in boiling salted water for 3 - 5 min. When beans are cooked remove and put into an ice bath to stop cooking. Meanwhile, cook diced bacon till crispy in nonstick fry pan. Remove bacon when done, drain. Cook onion and garlic with a spritz of nonstick spray or small amount of oil if needed. Add dry sherry and cumin. Reduce sherry. Add beans to mixture, add bacon; toss well to combine. Add salt and pepper if desired. Serve immediately. This was very good, quick and easy too!! Email this Recipe:
