Instructions: Place tomatoes in container of an electric blender; process until smooth, and set aside. Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 1 1/2 tbsp. drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside. Cook onion, celery, and green pepper in bacon drippings over medium-high heat until tender; stir in pureed tomatoes, rice, and remaining ingredients. Cook mixture over medium heat 10 minutes. Spoon into a lightly greased 3-quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.
