5 cup Flour
1/2 tbl Baking powder
2/3 cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground savory
2 x Eggs beaten
2 cup Milk
2 cup Sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives
2 cup Walnut pieces
Instructions:
Instructions: Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and savory.

In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk until well blended. Stir egg mixture into dry mixture until just blended. Add olives, walnuts, and pimiento.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Divide batter into 2 greased loaf pans and bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pans for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely.

This recipe makes 2 loaves.

Comments: Delicious topped with sweet butter or a mild cheese spread. For a quick appetizer, bake as mini loaves and top with a flavored cream cheese.
