8 oz smoked sausage halved lengthwise,
then cut into 1/2" pieces
1 pkt dried split peas - (16 oz) sorted, rinsed
3 med carrots sliced
2 x celery ribs sliced
1 med onion chopped
3/4 tsp dried marjoram leaves
1 x bay leaf
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat small skillet over medium heat. Add sausage; cook 5 to 8 minutes or until browned. Drain well.

Combine sausage and remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours or until peas are tender.

Turn off heat. Remove and discard bay leaf. Cover and let stand 15 minutes to thicken.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
