Instructions: Peel onions and apples. Roughly chop tomatoes, apples and onions.
Place all ingredients except sugar in a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are soft. Puree in processor and return to pan. Add sugar and stir until sauce boils. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until sauce is thick. Ladle hot sauce into hot jars and seal. Sterilise 30 minutes in a water bath. Email this Recipe:
