Instructions: In a very large pot add all items.

Boil together for 1 hour without stirring, the mixture needs to boil at approx twice the volume of the original mix. The mixture will boil up and you will need to keep a close eye on this so that is doesnt boil over and ruin your cooktop. When boiled for 1 hour the mixture will be a dark caramel colour, and will seem to be setting a little around the edges.

This needs to be beaten for approx 10-15 minutes with an electric beater, this beats air into the mixture and starts the setting of the tablet.

Tablet is a traditional sweet from Scotland and will disappear very quickly once made. I have had very limited success in making this sweet and this recipe works ok
