Instructions: Cut the beef into thin slices, about 3 inches square and 1/4-inch thick.
Combine the marinade ingredients in a medium bowl. Add the beef and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with sesame oil just before cooking. Place the meat on a lightly greased grill 3 to 4 inches above a solid bed of low-glowing coals. Cook, turning once, until just browned on both sides, about 2 minutes total. Serve immediately. This recipe yields 4 servings. Comments: Pork reigns in China, but in Korea, beef is the most favored meat. If youve eaten in a Korean restaurant, perhaps youve tasted bulgogi, the most famous beef dish of all. On the show, I cook this on a dome-shaped Genghis Khan grill.
