Instructions: Place apples in a large casserole dish. drizzle lemon juice over. Combine remaining ingredients for filling and toss with apples until thoroughly coated.

Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes, or until center is bubbly.

Personal note: The first time I made this was October, 1995. All the kids came back here and spent the night after the homecoming dance, and I made this for breakfast next morning. Rave reviews! It has since become a regular for us.
