Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Put squash in a saucepan with the water. Cover and simmer until tender. Remove from heat, drain and mash squash. Add butter, salt, pepper and milk. Mix thoroughly. Add beaten eggs, onions, cheese and cracker crumbs. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish and bake uncovered for about 40 minutes. Makes 8 servings. Email this Recipe:
