Instructions: Rub the butter into the flour to the consistency of fine breadcrumbs.
Stir in the icing sugar. Add the egg yolk and work it in until the dough binds together. Wrap and chill for 1/2 hour. Roll to 10mm thickness and stamp out circles space out on 2 baking trays. In the 2ovenaga bake with the ovenshelf on the floor of the roasting ovenand the cold plain shelf on the second set of runners from the top. In the 4 ovenaga bake with the ovenshelf on the floor of the baking oven. Nice with earl greytea and equally nice with fruit salads. Email this Recipe:
