Instructions: Peel and devein shrimp. Cook shrimp in 2 tablespoons butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally. Remove shrimp from saucepan, and set aside.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in instant broth and Old Bay seasoning. Place toast in an ungreased 11- by 7- by 2-inch baking dish; top evenly with shrimp. Spoon sauce over shrimp. Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Top each with a tomato slice. Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with bacon. Serve immediately. This recipe yields 4 servings. Email this Recipe:
