3 lb Frozen bison roast to 4 pounds
3/4 cup Water
1/2 env Dry onion soup
1 tbl Cornstarch
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Put partially frozen roast in covered roasting pan with 1/2 cup water. Bake for 1 hour. Sprinkle 1/2 envelope dry onion soup over meat. Return to oven and bake, basting periodically. Using a meat thermometer, cook to medium-done.

Remove from oven at about 5 degrees underdone, and allow to set covered for 15 minutes. (Meat continues to cook after removal and will roast to medium).

Slightly thicken the drippings with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed in 1/4 cup water, then add to drippings and heat. Keep hot. Carve meat thinly. Serve on a bun with favourite condiments.
