Ingredients:

2 lb high quality beef steak, 1 1/2" thick
----------------- Marinade: ----------------
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 tbl minced green onions
3 tbl water
2 tbl vegetable oil
1 tbl minced fresh ginger (optional)
3 lrg clv garlic, minced
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine marinade ingredients. Place beef steak and marinade in food-safe plastic bag, turning steak to coat. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or as long as overnight, turning occasionally.

Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Place steak on grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 25-28 minutes to 140 degrees F for medium-rare doneness, turning occasionally. Transfer to carving board. Let stand for 5 minutes. Carve steak crosswise into thin slices.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
