Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 F.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar. Stir in the water and vanilla and mix well. Blend in the flour and pecans until well combined. Shape the mixture into balls. Place the balls on an ungreased rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the baking sheet and let cool slightly. Roll the balls in the confectioners sugar and serve.
