Instructions: Cream butter. Add sugar. Cream again. Add water. Combine egg and molasses. Add to butter mixture. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix lightly with creamed ingredients. Drop 4 inches apart from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 325-degree oven for 8 to 12 minutes.
