Instructions: Cream shortening. Add sugar and cream well. Beat in 1 egg. Stir in 3/4 cup rolled oats. Combine milk and white vinegar in small cup. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, spices nuts and raisins. Add 1/2 of the flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Beat well. Add milk mixture to creamed mixture.
Beat well. Add remainder of flour, cream well. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets by rounded teaspoonfuls. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Email this Recipe:
