Instructions: Place layer of crackers in foil-lined 11 x 16 x 1-inch baking pan. Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes. Pour over crackers. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 5 minutes or until crackers float. Sprinkle chocolate chips over saltines; when melted spread over chocolate. Top with nuts and pat down. After cooling, break into pieces. Refrigerate in plastic.
Dont let the crackers turn you off this recipe-you wont even notice that theyre in the final product. I dont know anyone whos tasted this stuff and didnt like it. Its become a bit of a tradition at my familys Christmas celebrations. Enjoy! Email this Recipe:
