Amethystt Says: This is a recipe I got from a friend about 28 years ago when I was a teenager..Since then I immediately tried it at home and it became a holiday favorite. Now I have my own family and it is still a favorite. It may sound strange but is excellent. For the last 28 years we have had it every Thanksgiving. My Mom still makes it and so does my sister. The sour cream tastes sweet because the jello is so sweet and seems like a whipping cream. It is like a dessert but we always serve it with the meal as a salad. Also I have tried it on one side with regular sour cream and one half with fat free and could not tell the difference at all!
