1 cup sour cream
1 x egg
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbl all-purpose flour
4 cup ripe pears, peeled and diced (about 8 medium)
1 x unbaked 9 inch pie shell
----------------- Pecan streusel topping: ----------------
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, cut in small pieces (see note)
Instructions:
Instructions: To make pie: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Blend the sour cream, egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and flour until smooth. Fold in the pears. Pour into the pie shell. Bake for 40 minutes.

Sprinkle with topping and bake another 10 minutes. Cool slightly and serve.

To make topping: Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix in butter until mixture resembles peas. Mix in pecans.

Note: Use real butter or stick margarine. Do not substitute reduced-fat spreads; their higher water content often yields less-satisfactory results.
