Instructions: Combine eggs, sugar, cream, and water. Mix well. Sift flour, measure 1 1/4 cups, and sift with baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Add to first mixture. Beat thoroughly. Add prunes which have been cut in small pieces and dredged in 1/4 cup of the sifted flour. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) about 45 minutes.
