Instructions: Cream butter and sugar, add flour and baking powder, blending until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Stir in pecans.
Pat pecan mixture firmly into a well-greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cover with Pecan Topping and bake 25 to 30 additional minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars. Yield: 30 bars PECAN TOPPING: Combine all ingredients, except pecans; pour over partially baked crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Yield: topping for 30 bars. Email this Recipe:
