Instructions: In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, and mix well.
Add sweet potato, milk and orange peel, and mix well. In another bowl, combine flour, allspice, and nutmeg. Add to cream mixture. Mix just until combined. Fold in nuts. Pour into a greased 9 inch by 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Combine spread ingredients and beat until smooth.
