1/2 tbl brown sugar
2 tsp granulated garlic
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1 tsp dried whole leaf oregano
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix all of the ingredients together well. Southwest Dry Chili Rub will keep indefinitely, stored in an airtight container.

This recipe yields about 1/2 cup.

Comments: This simple combination of spices makes an uncommonly delicious rub for fish, full of great flavors from south of the border.
