Instructions: Preparing Spaghetti Squash
To bake: Pierce the shell in several places, put in a baking pan and bake in a 350-degree oven for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until the shell easily gives to pressure. To microwave: Cut squash in half, place cut sides up in a large microwave-safe dish with 1/4 cup water. Cover with plastic wrap, pierce wrap with fork in several places to allow steam to escape. Microwave at full power for 20 minutes or until the shell gives to pressure. Once the squash has cooked, allow it to cool, then scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Using a fork, scrape out the flesh into spaghetti like strands. Sauce it up and serve. Bon Appetite! Email this Recipe:
