1 pkt (16 ounces) uncooked spaghetti
2 cup cooked white rice
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats (do not use instant oatmeal)
1 med onion, chopped ( 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 tbl chopped fresh OR 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
2 tsp chopped fresh OR 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 lrg egg, beaten
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 tbl vegetable oil
2 cup spaghetti sauce
Finely shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
Instructions:
Instructions: While spaghetti is cooking, mix rice, oats, onion, bread crumbs, milk, basil, oregano, red pepper and egg. Shape mixture into 12 balls. Roll balls in wheat germ.

Heat oil in 10 inch skillet over medium heat. Cook balls in oil about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until light golden brown.

Drain spaghetti. Heat spaghetti sauce. Serve sauce and rice balls over spaghetti. Sprinkle with cheese.
