Instructions: Put the spaghetti into boiling water and boil until tender.
Drain and stir in the first portion of butter to keep the strands separate. While the spaghetti is boiling use a large roomy fryingpan to fry the cabbage in the second portion of butter for about 4 minutes until it has softened a little. Now push the cabbage to the side of the pan away from direct heat then fry the garlic in the third portion of butter for a couple of minutes. Add the spaghetti and soy sauce and stir fry everything including the cabbage. When heated through push everything to the side of the pan. Melt the last portion of butter and fry the egg mushing it with the vinegar. Before the egg gets hard but not while it is still runny mix everything together. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve at once on a heated plate. To vary this dish it could be garnished liberally with grated cheese chopped ham or flaked cooked smoked haddock.
