The story behind this recipe says that it got its name because ladies of the night could quickly prepare a batch and dine between entertaining clients. Or it could just be named this way because the sauce is hot!
2 x cloves garlic
2 tbl olive oil
1 sm hot pepper, minced
6 x anchovy fillets, chopped
1 cup black olives, sliced
2 tbl capers
1 lb tomatoes, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chopped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute whole garlic cloves in oil. Add hot pepper and anchovies; saute briefly. Add olives, capers, and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, until very hot. Remove garlic. Toss with spaghetti and sprinkle with parsley.
