Instructions: Place meat in Dutch oven. Sprinkle with S&P, allspice, and cinnamon. Add water, celery and onion. Cover and cook 2 1/2 - 3 hours, or until almost tender. Add sweet potatoes, and continue cooking 30 to 40 minutes more, covered or till all is tender.
Slowly melt jelly in small saucepan. Remove meat and potatoes to warm platter, and brush with melted jelly. Stir chocolate syrup into cooking liquid, and thicken with flour for gravy. Email this Recipe:
