Instructions: Combine first 5 ingredients in heavy large saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat; bring to boil. Stir in all remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture is thick, stirring occasionally, about 40 minutes. Cool completely. (Can be made 3 days ahead. Cover; chill.)
Made November 1999. Used apple juice instead of cranberry juice. I suspect that the somewhat bland flavor resulted. Quite good with mincemeat flavors. Yield: 5 cups Email this Recipe:
